ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
Our client, a reputable and growing Tier 2 bank in Ghana, is seeking dynamic and results-
oriented Relationship Managers to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to build and
manage a portfolio of high-value clients while contributing to the bank's growth and market expansion.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Client Acquisition & Portfolio Management
• Identify, pursue, and acquire new clients (individuals and corporate) to grow the
bank's customer base
• Build and manage a profitable portfolio of accounts, ensuring revenue targets are
met or exceeded
• Conduct regular client visits and maintain strong relationships with existing
customers
• Cross-sell banking products including deposits, loans, credit facilities, trade finance,
and investments
Relationship Management & Customer Service
• Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, providing exceptional
customer service
• Understand client needs and provide tailored financial solutions and advisory
services
• Handle client inquiries, complaints, and requests promptly and professionally
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention
Business Development & Revenue Generation
• Develop and execute strategies to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales
targets
• Identify new business opportunities within existing and potential client segments
• Prepare and present business proposals, loan applications, and credit facilities to
clients
• Negotiate terms and close deals in line with the bank's policies and procedures
Risk Management & Compliance
• Conduct thorough Know Your Customer (KYC) and due diligence processes for all
clients
• Ensure all transactions comply with Bank of Ghana regulations and internal policies
• Monitor account activities and report any suspicious transactions or potential risks
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and documentation

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
Education

• Bachelor's degree in Insurance, Finance, Banking, Economics, Marketing, or related
field
• Professional certifications (CFA, ACCA, IFS Diploma) are an added advantage
Experience
• 3-5 years of proven experience in banking or insurance sector
• Banking experience strongly preferred
• Demonstrated track record of achieving sales targets and growing client portfolios
• Experience in relationship management, business development, or sales roles within
financial services
Skills & Competencies
• Strong sales orientation with proven ability to close deals and generate revenue
• Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills
• Outstanding communication and presentation abilities
• Good understanding of banking products, services, and financial markets in Ghana
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Knowledge of banking software and CRM systems is advantageous
• Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills
