POSITION PURPOSE

The Business Development & Technical Pre-sales Manager is responsible for bridging the gap between Jeme Technologies' sales initiatives and technical delivery capabilities in the network infrastructure and cybersecurity domain. This role combines technical expertise with business development acumen to design, propose, and support enterprise-grade security solutions for clients. The position requires a seasoned professional who can translate complex technical concepts into compelling business proposals while working collaboratively with sales teams, customers, and global vendors to deliver mission-critical security implementations.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Technical Pre-sales & Business Development

• Coordinate all sales team requests for deal closure from technical perspective
• Translate client business requirements and concepts into comprehensive technical proposals
• Conduct technical presentations, demonstrations, and proof-of-concept deployments for enterprise customers
• Develop and maintain relationships with global vendors and regional partners
• Support sales team with technical expertise throughout the entire sales cycle

2. Network Infrastructure Design & Implementation

• Design enterprise-grade network infrastructure solutions including switching, routing, and wireless technologies
• Design and implement enterprise network security architectures
• Configure, administer, maintain, and troubleshoot complex network security solutions
• Implement network segmentation strategies and VLAN designs for security optimization
• Design and manage VPN architectures including IPSEC and SSL VPN solutions

3. Cybersecurity Architecture & Management

• Design and manage enterprise-grade cybersecurity controls including NGFW, IDS/IPS, WAF, DDoS mitigation, EDR/XDR, and SIEM
• Expert-level firewall administration and advanced policy management across multiple platforms
• Implement and optimize Zero Trust Frameworks including Network Access Control (NAC) and identity-based access solutions
• Support and optimize Aruba ClearPass, FortiNAC, and Cisco ISE deployments
• Design and implement enterprise and cloud security architectures including Identity Management and Office 365 security
• Deploy and integrate SIEM/SOC solutions and DDoS defense mechanisms

4. Security Operations & Threat Management

• Analyze traffic logs and firewall alerts to identify and escalate potential security threats
• Assess security breaches and react accordingly to maintain integrity of systems and processes
• Perform firewall firmware upgrades, patches, and configuration hardening
• Conduct regular firewall rule reviews and ensure compliance with security policies
• Provide strong troubleshooting, incident response, and problem-solving during security events
• Utilize firewall monitoring tools and conduct comprehensive log analysis

5. Risk Management & Compliance

• Apply strong knowledge of risk management methods, frameworks, standards, and governance models
• Implement industry-standard risk analysis approaches and security frameworks
• Ensure compliance with cybersecurity frameworks including MITRE ATT&CK, NIST, ISO 27001, and Cyber Essentials
• Document incidents, configuration changes, and operational procedures comprehensively
• Conduct security assessments and audits of client environments

6. Enterprise Security Tools & Technologies

• Deploy and manage enterprise security tools including firewalls, endpoint protection, email security, SIEM, SOAR, and IDS/IPS
• Configure and optimize next-generation firewall solutions (Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco)
• Implement EDR/XDR solutions for advanced endpoint threat detection and response
• Design and implement Web Application Firewall (WAF) solutions
• Work with SIEM platforms such as Splunk for security event correlation and analysis

7. Technical Protocols & Standards

• Deep understanding of TCP/IP networking protocols and architecture
• Expert knowledge of VPN technologies and IPSEC implementations
• Proficiency in Extended Detection and Response (XDR) technologies
• Experience working in large-scale, mission-critical environments
• Solid understanding of enterprise and cloud security architectures

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

Educational Background

• Bachelor's degree (BSc) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or related field
• Engineering degree in relevant discipline is highly preferred

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 8 years of technical experience in network infrastructure and security solutions
• 5+ years of hands-on Network Infrastructure & cybersecurity experience
• Proven experience in Enterprise network security design and implementation
• Technical pre-sales experience with demonstrated success in deal closure
• Experience working in large-scale, mission-critical environments
• Hands-on experience with enterprise security tools and platforms

Professional Certifications (Required & Preferred)

• Certified at close to expert level in CISCO and Fortinet (Required)
• Leading OEM certifications from major vendors (Required)
