JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Developer Technical Support Engineer.

The ideal candidate must have a strong grasp of complicated systems and be skilled at diagnosing, troubleshooting, and fixing technical problems using their programming knowledge.  This role is essential to delivering prompt, efficient, and technically sound support to our clients and developer teams.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide exceptional client support by identifying and resolving any technical issues, enhancing user experience, and ensuring that any system needs are met in a timely and professional manner.
  • Provide high-level technical support and insight to developers, clients, and internal teams.
  • Understand and analyze code, identify bugs or inconsistencies, and propose solutions.
  • Utilize programming/scripting skills to write test cases, automation scripts, or tools to resolve issues.
  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to understand system architecture and functionalities.
  • Record troubleshooting and steps taken to solve issues.
  • Participate in knowledge-sharing and continuous improvement of our support process.
  • Remain up to date on system updates, modifications, and information.
  • Spearhead the creation and maintenance of technical documentation.
  • Engage with clients to understand their business requirements and translate them into technical solutions that drive value and efficiency.
  • Facilitate user support by developing comprehensive documentation, conducting training sessions, and offering resources that empower users to effectively navigate and utilize our products.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

  • Bachelor of Science degree with majors in Computer Science, Information Technology, or any related field of study.
  • Strong programming/scripting skills in the following [HTML, Bootstrap, CSS, PHP, JavaScript]
  • Familiarity with databases, API integrations, and web technologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong customer service orientation and ability to interact professionally with clients.
  • Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Eagerness to learn new technologies and frameworks.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Familiarity with database technology such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB and API Integrations.
