About the role
Tier 1 Micro Finance is seeking a strategic, results-driven Chief Financial Officer to lead its finance function, covering financial strategy, fundraising, risk management, regulatory compliance, and treasury.
What we are looking for
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Professional qualification: ICAG, ACCA, CFA, or equivalent
- Minimum 10 years' finance experience, preferably in microfinance or banking
- At least 5 years' experience in a senior finance leadership role
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, regulatory reporting, and treasury management
- Experience with fundraising, investor relations, and capital structuring
- Sound understanding of credit risk, portfolio quality, and liquidity management
- Strong leadership, analytical, and stakeholder management skills
