Description
ABOUT THE ROLE
We're seeking a Business Development & Technical Pre-sales Manager to bridge sales and
technical delivery in network infrastructure and cybersecurity. This role combines technical
expertise with business development to design, propose, and support enterprise-grade
security solutions for major clients across West Africa.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Technical Pre-sales & Business Development
• Translate client requirements into comprehensive technical proposals
• Conduct technical presentations, demos, and proof-of-concept deployments
• Support sales team throughout the entire deal closure process
• Maintain relationships with global vendors and regional partners
Network Infrastructure & Security
• Design enterprise-grade network and security architectures
• Configure and troubleshoot complex security solutions (NGFW, IDS/IPS, WAF,
DDoS, EDR/XDR, SIEM)
• Implement Zero Trust Frameworks (NAC, identity-based access)
• Support Aruba ClearPass, FortiNAC, and Cisco ISE deployments
Security Operations
• Analyze traffic logs and firewall alerts to identify threats
• Perform firewall upgrades, patches, and configuration hardening
• Conduct security assessments and ensure compliance with frameworks (MITRE
ATT&CK, NIST, ISO 27001)
• Document incidents and operational procedures
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, IT, or related field
• B.Engineering highly preferred
Experience
• Minimum 8 years in network infrastructure and security solutions
• 5+ years hands-on network infrastructure & cybersecurity experience
• Enterprise network security design and implementation
• Technical pre-sales experience with proven deal closure success
• Large-scale, mission-critical environments
Certifications (REQUIRED)
• CISCO certified (close to expert level)
• Fortinet certified (close to expert level)
• Leading OEM certifications from major vendors
Additional Certifications (Advantageous):
ISO 27001, Palo Alto (PCNSA/PCNSE), Fortinet NSE 4-7, CISSP, Cisco Security,
CrowdStrike, Splunk, Aruba ClearPass, Cisco ISE
TECHNICAL EXPERTISE REQUIRED
Network Infrastructure
• TCP/IP, routing protocols, network architectures
• VPNs, IPSEC, SSL VPN, network segmentation
• Enterprise switching, routing, wireless technologies
Security Technologies
• NGFW administration (Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco)
• NAC solutions (Aruba ClearPass, FortiNAC, Cisco ISE)
• IDS/IPS, WAF, DDoS mitigation, EDR/XDR, SIEM/SOAR
• Endpoint protection, email security
Frameworks & Standards
• MITRE ATT&CK, NIST, ISO 27001, Cyber Essentials
• Zero Trust Architecture
• Risk management methodologies
