ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
We are looking for a sharp, organised, and people-oriented HR & Admin Assistant to support our Group HR
& Admin Manager and help drive the people function across The Omni Group. This is an exciting opportunity

Reports To Group HR & Admin Manager
WHAT YOU WILL DO
As HR & Admin Assistant, you will support the day-to-day running of the HR function and ensure the
Group's people operations run smoothly and compliantly. Your key areas of responsibility include:
Recruitment & Onboarding
▪ Coordinating and scheduling interviews, assessments, and onboarding processes across Group entities.
▪ Maintaining and updating the applicant tracking system, ensuring candidate records are accurate and
current.
▪ Preparing offer letters, employment contracts, and onboarding documentation.
▪ Supporting the induction and orientation of new employees, ensuring a professional first experience.
HR Administration & Records
▪ Maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee records across all Group subsidiaries.
▪ Managing leave administration, tracking leave balances, and ensuring records reflect approved leave.
▪ Updating and maintaining the HRIS platform with current employee data and changes.
▪ Preparing HR reports, summaries, and data analysis as required by the Group HR Manager.
Payroll & Statutory Compliance Support
▪ Assisting with monthly payroll preparation — collating timesheets, leave deductions, and allowance
data.
▪ Supporting SSNIT registration, deductions, and remittance processes.
▪ Ensuring all statutory compliance deadlines are tracked and flagged in advance.
Employee Relations & Welfare
▪ Acting as a first point of contact for staff queries on HR policies, leave, and benefits.
▪ Supporting the coordination of employee welfare, engagement, and recognition activities.
▪ Assisting with disciplinary and grievance processes — scheduling hearings, taking notes, and
maintaining records.
General Administration
▪ Managing the HR filing system both physical and digital to ensure documents are organised,
confidential, and retrievable.
▪ Drafting correspondence, HR communications, and internal notices on behalf of the HR Manager.
▪ Providing general administrative support to the Group HR & Admin Manager as required.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Qualifications & Experience
▪ A degree or HND in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Social Sciences, or a
related field.
▪ 3 years plus of experience in an HR, administrative, or people-support role.
▪ Membership of or active pursuit of a recognised HR professional body (IHRMP, SHRM, or equivalent) is
an advantage.
▪ Exposure to a multi-entity or Group-level organisation is a plus, but not required.
Technical Knowledge
▪ Working knowledge of the Ghana Labour Act (Act 651) and basic statutory employment requirements.
▪ Experience with SSNIT administration and payroll support processes.
▪ Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook. Advanced Excel is a strong advantage.
▪ Familiarity with an HRIS platform (BambooHR, OmniPMS, or similar) is an advantage.
▪ Ability to maintain accurate HR records and produce clean, well-presented reports.
