About the Opportunity
We are looking for a commercially sharp, driven, and experienced Commercial Manager to take full
ownership of our commercial function for a dynamic and growing organisation operating across
multiple sectors in Ghana.
This is a senior leadership role reporting directly to the General Manager. You will be responsible for
the full commercial cycle, from pricing, proposals, and procurement through to contract management,
client relationships, and revenue protection, in the oil field services industry.

Reports To General Manager

What You Will Do
As Commercial Manager at Omni Energy Limited, you will own and drive the commercial function.
Your core areas of responsibility include:
▪ Developing and implementing commercial systems, pricing strategies, and procedures that
support business growth and protect profitability.
▪ Preparing and overseeing all proposals, tenders, and contracts, ensuring they are commercially
sound and in the best interest of the company.
▪ Managing debt recovery, minimising commercial leakages, and protecting the organisation's
revenue at all times.
▪ Owning client and supplier relationships, maintaining regular contact and ensuring satisfaction
and retention.
▪ Managing purchase orders, inventory, and the container tracking system for full logistics
visibility.
▪ Leading, developing, and appraising the commercial team, building a culture of accountability
and commercial excellence.
▪ Preparing commercial performance reports and forecasts for the MD and General Manager, with
clear data-driven recommendations.

What We Are Looking For
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
▪ MBA in Finance, Business Administration, or equivalent postgraduate qualification from a
recognised institution.
▪ Professional qualification in ACCA, ICA, or equivalent is an advantage.
▪ Minimum of 10 years of progressive commercial experience in a Commercial, Customer Analysis,
or similar senior role.
▪ Solid commercial experience in the oil field services industry or a closely related sector.
▪ Exposure to shipping and logistics is a strong advantage.
▪ Proven experience leading and developing a commercial team.
▪ Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and commercial reporting tools.
TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE
▪ Expert negotiation skills, able to represent the company confidently in complex commercial
discussions.
▪ Strong forecasting and financial projection skills with the ability to translate data into clear
business recommendations.
▪ Deep knowledge of commercial contract structures, procedures, and terms and conditions.
▪ Strong analytical skills, able to identify trends, risks, and opportunities in commercial data.
▪ Sound understanding of inventory management, procurement, and supply chain coordination.
▪ Knowledge of relationship marketing and B2B client management.
